Study in Ukraine

Ukraine is the world’s 46th-largest country (after South Sudan and before Madagascar). It is the largest entirely European country and the second-largest country in Europe (after the European part of Russia, before metropolitan France).

According to the Ukrainian constitution, access to free education is granted to all citizens. Complete general secondary education is compulsory in the state schools which constitute the overwhelming majority. Free higher education in state and communal educational establishments is provided on a competitive basis. There are also a small number of accredited private secondary and higher education institutions.

Ukraine produces the fourth largest number of post-secondary graduates in Europe. Ukrainian universities confer two degrees: the bachelor’s degree (4 years) and the master’s degree (5–6th year). The Ukrainian higher education system comprises higher educational establishments, scientific and methodological facilities under national, municipal and self-governing bodies in charge of education.

Ukraine is considered as a good higher study destination for those students who are looking for quality education at a reasonable price. Other than the tuition fee, the cost of living is also very affordable in Ukraine compared to other European countries.
